郑坑村属龙川县岩镇镇，是一个村庄。村名与最早在此落户的郑姓人家有关，村中地势也多起伏。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地归平山乡。1952年设郑坑乡，1957年隶属山鹊管区，管区内另有山池、鹊塘两地。1987年改为村委会，1989年改作管理区，1999年再称村委会。[1]

2004年，上郑坑、下郑坑两个村委会获县政府批准并入本村，此后沿用至今。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，郑坑村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
