山池村属龙川县岩镇镇，位于岩镇西半部，处在龙池山盆地之中，南面与青龙湖（枫树坝水库）相接。村子四周群山环绕，中间是一片椭圆形的小盆地，村名由此而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地归平山乡管辖。1952年设山池乡，1957年设山鹊管区，管辖今山池、鹊塘、上郑、下郑等地。1958年建山池大队，1983年改设山池乡。1987年起称村委会，1989年又改为管理区，1999年重新设为村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

据百度百科，本村面积约25平方千米，下辖4个自然村和41个村民小组，人口五千余人（统计年份未注明）。在青龙湖核心湖区沿岸的村庄中，本村的规模最大。[2]

文化[edit]

据百度百科所列，村内有客家古围屋、古炮台、古石灰窑遗址和护龙桥等古迹，其中护龙桥被认为是县内最古老的石拱桥。村中另有滴水观音、侍郎古墓与古宗祠。[2]

山池村于2022年11月入选「第六批中国传统村落」名录公示名单，2023年3月19日正式列入。[2] 2026年1月，本村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1] 2021年4月，村子获得「2020年度龙川县文明村镇」称号。[1]

经济[edit]

岩镇2026年工作计划提到，山池村的省级古村落旅游设施建设仍在施工，要求盯紧进度和质量。[3] 2025年县政府工作报告也列入了岩镇省级古村落等项目。[4]
