联城村属龙川县岩镇镇，是镇乡结合区中的一个行政村。村名由“九联”与“城头”两地名各取一字组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地归平山乡所辖。1952年本地设乡，1957年划入平联管区，1962年改设联城乡。1987年先成为村委会，1989年改设管理区，1999年又恢复为村委会。[1]

1971年，岩镇公社机关因修建枫树坝水库迁往本村一带。[2] 2004年，城头村委会经县政府批准归入本村，此后保持至今。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年1月，河源市文明委授予本村「2020年度河源市文明村」称号。[1]
