岩镇镇隶属河源市龙川县，位于县境东北部，地处东江上游。境内共有一个社区、六个行政村，镇政府设在岩镇社区。东、西、南三面临枫树坝水库，北面与兴宁市罗浮镇相接。镇内保存有较完整的围龙屋，文昌祠原为刘氏书院，现为县级文物保护单位。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，地名来自辖区位于东莞寨石岩下这一位置。[3] 维基百科载，清乾隆年间此地称“岩下”，民国初年才有“岩镇街”之称。[2] 解放初期此地归第五区管辖，区公所设在贝岭；1952年3月，改设第十一区，治所在岩镇。[3]

1957年12月，麻布岗与岩镇分设为两个乡；1958年，这两个乡被合并到麻布岗公社之中；1962年，岩镇又单独设立公社。[3] 为修建枫树坝水库，1971年公社机关由岩镇迁往联城，驻地位于与平越交界的牛神坳山里一带。[2] 1983年11月，公社体制取消，改行区建制；1987年起为岩镇乡；1993年10月15日，乡建制改为镇。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域总面积121.56平方千米。东、西、南三面为枫树坝水库环绕，水库又名青龙湖，据百度百科，其1970年动工、1978年建成，是广东省内第二大人工湖。[3][5] 维基百科认为，本镇正处在枫树坝水库自然保护区的核心地带。[2] 博雅地名网称，镇域与本县新田、赤光、车田、麻布岗等镇接壤。[3]

维基百科载2020年全镇常住人口8934人。[2] 百度百科则记2019年末户籍人口21463人，两个数字的统计口径不同，不能互相替代。[1]

据博雅地名网，2021年6月第七次全国人口普查结果为8900人，在全县乡镇中排第20位。[3] 百度百科记2017年本镇生产总值为两亿六千九百万元左右，其中农业部分约1.19亿元，工业部分约1.14亿元，农民人均纯收入为8278元。[1] 博雅地名网引用的2006年数据显示，镇内耕地10644亩，其中水田7100亩，主要种植水稻、番薯、黄豆和玉米。[3][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

百度百科把青龙湖（枫树坝水库）列为岩镇镇的著名景点。[1][5] 镇内有保存较完整的围龙屋，并有举人桅杆。围龙屋是客家围屋的一种，平面呈半圆形，百度百科称它主要分布在梅州、深圳、惠州及福建等地。[8]镇里还有一座文昌祠，它的前身是刘氏书院，目前属县级文物。[1][2] 博雅地名网把佗城景区、龙川霍山风景区、龙川考棚和龙川学宫列为到岩镇游览的景点。[3]

据博雅地名网，电影编剧谢逢松1932年出生于岩镇。[3] 百度百科称他是诗人、电影剧作家、电影评论家和书法家，1951年毕业于广州南方大学政治系，后任北京电影制片厂编导室常务副主任、文学部主任。[1]
