高尚村是紫金县好义镇的行政村。村名的来历是：本地原有高堂和上村，曾取“兴”字作村名“高尚”，后改写为“高”，寓意村民品德高尚。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年人民公社化时，这里属双全大队；1983年分出，另设高尚乡；1989年乡改为高尚管理区；1999年管理区撤销，设高尚村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，高尚村被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2024年3月，评为2023年度的省级卫生村。[1]
