小古村是紫金县好义镇的行政村，村内有清代的凤振黄公祠。村名据说来自一块形似小鼓的标志性石头，“鼓”与“古”同音。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

当地原有一块外形像小鼓的石头，作为地方标志，“鼓”“古”谐音，村因此叫小古。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，小古村（芥蓝）被广东省农业农村厅列入首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村。[1]2019年3月25日，县妇联、农业农村局和文明办的人员来到村里，验收乡村“最美家庭”试点工作；小古村当时是紫金县的省定贫困村，也是好义镇该年首个试点，共推选出10户。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

凤振黄公祠为黄氏宗祠，建于清代，坐北向南，三间二进，前有门楼，两头为横屋，祠前余坪外有半月形的池塘；面阔29.5米、进深22.5米，建筑面积663.75平方米，砖瓦结构，1985年和2004年两次重修。大门额题“凤振黄公祠”，神龛上供奉黄氏祖先神位。[2]
