苏区社区是紫金县苏区镇的镇中心社区，设于2013年，名称纪念1927年在此设立紫金县苏维埃政府一事。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网说，因为紫金县苏维埃政府1927年就设在这里，后人为了纪念，把此地叫作苏区。[1] 紫金县政府网站的行政区划页记载，2013年全县增设苏区社区居委会；博雅地名网补充，社区居民委员会是从炮子村村民委员会管辖的圩镇范围中分出的，隶属苏区镇人民政府。[1][2]
