庄田村是紫金县南岭镇的行政村，产茶，2019年9月农业农村部认定其为“第九批全国一村一品示范村镇”，品类是绿茶。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传此地原是大片森林，樟树居多，后人伐木垦田，起名“樟田”，客家话里“樟”“庄”读音相近，写成庄田。[1] 庄田大队原属苏区人民公社，1961年改归南岭公社。行政建制上，1983年称庄田乡，1987年称管理区，1999年又改为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

荣誉有三项：2019年9月，在省里公布的2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位之列；2024年3月，获2023年度广东省卫生村称号；同年4月，进入省首批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[1]
