王告村是紫金县南岭镇的行政村，由三个大队合并而成。2026年3月，列入广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的说法是：原有长生、永康、王告三个大队，合并后以王告为名。[1] 博雅地名网记载，1958年的人民公社时期它叫黄告大队，1961年起成为南岭公社的王告大队。后来依次改为王告乡（1983年）、王告村委会（1987年）、王告管理区（1989年），1999年撤管理区并重设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年10月，王告村入选当年广东省卫生村名录。[1]
