锦口村是紫金县黄塘镇的行政村，黄塘激流回旋训练基地设在村内。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

锦口河水流出的地方，有鸡耳山和右帘两山夹住水口，村名「锦口」由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

锦口大队在1958年隶黄塘公社，这一建制保持到1982年；次年大队改称乡，1987年起设村委会，1989年再称管理区，1999年撤销管理区、改设行政村，设立锦口村委会，此后名称未变。[1]

激流回旋基地与产业[edit]

基地在村内宝胜、吉水两个自然村一带，双下水库大坝下游的河段。[2] 村里的锦口电站装机125千瓦，1997年6月由当时的锦口管理区投资56.61万元兴建，1998年5月投产。[3] 锦口以冬瓜为特色产品，2023年沿河两岸空地新种油茶100亩。[4] 村内黄屋嶂有地质灾害点，镇里推进避险搬迁安置，2023年拆旧复垦项目正在评审。[4]

荣誉[edit]

锦口村2019年9月在「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位之列，2024年3月又被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
