长岌村是紫金县黄塘镇的行政村，坐落在高山寨里的一块小盆地中，是第二批国家森林乡村（2019年）。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村所在的盆地，东北、西南两面都是陡坡路，因此叫「长岌」；「岌」字当地习惯读音近「应」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

长岌大队在1958年隶黄塘公社，这一建制保持到1982年；次年大队改称乡，1987年起设村委会，1989年再称管理区，1999年撤销管理区、改设行政村，设立长岌村民委员会，此后名称未变。[1]

荣誉与产业[edit]

国家林业和草原局2019年12月公布第二批国家森林乡村，长岌村名列其中；2023年5月又获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1] 长岌电站装机500千瓦，镇里1995年冬投资448.4万元兴建，1997年11月投产。[2] 镇政府还把长岌茶列为要培育的农产品品牌。[3]
