铁嶂村是紫金县黄塘镇的行政村，村名取自铁炉嶂大山，当地矿产多、山势高。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

铁嶂大队在1958年隶黄塘公社，这一建制保持到1982年；次年大队改称乡，1987年起设村委会，1989年再称管理区，1999年撤销管理区、改设行政村，设立铁嶂村民委员会，此后名称未变。[1]

荣誉与开发[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予该村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1] 镇政府2023年的工作总结提到，村内稻香翠竹园民宿首期已建成，并协助深圳市华晖集团推进民宿的后续投资建设。[2]
