方湖村是紫金县柏埔镇辖下的行政村，明代称蚌湖，是镇内的「红色村」党建示范点之一。[1][2][3]

名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，明隆庆三年（1569）置县时此地称蚌湖，1958年取「蚌」「方」同音改今名。[1][4] 明清属宽得都平湖社、平湖约；1952年属第十区蚌湖村；1958年设方湖大队，1961年分出良洞、群星两个大队。[1][2] 1983年改称方湖乡，1986年设方湖村委会，1989年改为管理区，1999年复设村委会。[1][2]

经济与荣誉[edit]

柏埔镇2021年的工作报告记载，方湖村的「红色村」党建示范工程已基本建成，并通过省委组织部验收；温氏集团养鸡企业于2020年落户该村。[3] 方湖村2019年有两项省级记载：9月进入2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单，10月列入当年度卫生村名录；2026年1月，它又被评为省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
