太阳升村是河源市源城区东埔街道的行政村，村委会在文明路49号，名称寓意初升的太阳。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，新丰江水库库区的窖下、晨光两个大队迁到这里。1976年两队并为太阳升大队，其后依次改为乡（1980年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1990年）；1999年管理区撤销，村委会重设，沿用到现在。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村域5.2平方千米，东邻东埔村，北接高塘村，南到沿江路，西临新丰江水库；分毛石岭、长岗岌、塘坝、四耳桥、河沥记5个村小组。总人口约6680人，含户籍约5320人、常住约5860人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

太阳升村2019年9月进了「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，同年10月又入选「2019年广东省卫生村」。[1]
