南湖社区是河源市源城区上城街道下辖的社区，因城市改造，原有的南湖山庄一名延续下来作社区名，辖区约1.7平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1995年经源城区人民政府批准设立。[1]

社区概况[edit]

辖区东到滨江大道，南到风光村，西到河源大道，北到新兴路；常住1437户5628人，下设7个居民小组，有御龙湾二期、阳光水岸、三友南城3个物业小区，区内的啸仙中学与社区共用文体设施。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

石峡恐龙蛋化石埋藏地在社区内，属丹霞地貌，博雅地名网称其已由广东省文物保护单位升为国家级文物保护单位。[1]
