下城社区是河源市源城区上城街道下辖的社区，辖区约0.25平方千米，在老城区地势较低处，俗称下城。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1989年这里是下城管理区，1997年改设下城居委会，名称沿用至今。[1]
社区概况[edit]
社区办公处在丽江城A7栋，常住3366人（688户），另有流动人口约380人，下设7个居民小组。党组织2018年2月由原党支部升格为党总支，辖两个支部，共有党员60名。[1]辖区内有太平古街、太平新街两条商业街。[1]2019年9月，社区进入广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单。[1]
