历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后，潭西公社所辖崔陂、湖厝、下寮、庄厝陂、棋子埔、高西6村组成湖陂大队，后来崔陂划出，另设棋湖大队。1975年划归湖陂农场，湖厝围、下寮、高西、庄厝陂编为第五管理区；2002年2月，定名为星都经济开发区文昌社区居民委员会。[1]
