后冲村位于广东省汕尾市陆丰市桥冲镇西南方向的中段，离镇政府约7千米。北边隔着乌坎河，与博美镇的霞绕村对岸相望；西边连白沙村，东边靠下塘村。[1]
村内有五个自然村，设六个村民小组，博雅地名网所载总人口6315人。[1]
自然条件与产业[edit]
村中河多山少，田地连片，有千亩良田。山地种植桉树与荔枝，其中后冲荔枝较为有名。养殖以牛、猪、鹅为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，南宋后期，村中一支先祖由福建莆田迁往青螺，后又有分支迁来此处，至今已有八百余年。[1]
1958年，因公社化，这里从别处分出，单独设为大队；此后变为管理区，1999年成为村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，后冲村进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。2023年5月，后冲村被评为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
