玄溪村位于上英镇东北部、螺河下游，下辖3个自然村，属革命老苏区村。耕地674亩，总户数250户。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记玄溪建村于公元1611年。[2]土改时属潭西区钱广乡；1958年归炎龙公社钱溪大队，1966年划入上英公社钱溪大队。[2]

1973年，玄溪自钱广分开，另立大队；1988年改设管理区；1999年改为玄溪村民委员会。[2]

博雅地名网钱广村页写的是1973年钱广自玄溪分出，与本页所说方向相反。[2][4]

人文[edit]

百度百科称，清代有恩进士张与南，村中建有「进士第」。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，玄溪村获得广东省爱卫会颁授的「2021年广东省卫生村」。[2]

另在2019年9月，玄溪村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
