上英村位于上英镇中部、螺河下游，下辖4个自然村、5个村民小组。公社时期的政府驻地就设在这里，上英镇的名称由此而来。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记为公元1411年建基。[2]1949年至1959年，村属新二区上英乡；1960年，改隶东崎公社，成为上英大队。[2]

1962年，上英与半埔分为两个大队；1988年设管理区，1999年方才改设上英村委会，沿用至今。[2]

地理与人口[edit]

村域面积约6.7平方千米，耕地为2100亩。全村503户，共3137人。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予上英村「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[2]2019年9月，村上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
