英郑村位于上英镇西部、螺河下游，原名华殷村，解放后改称英郑。全村面积约3.7平方千米，总人口1847人。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，郑姓祖先于1341年由惠来县敖江镇澳头村迁来，立村为业。[2]土改前后，村子随浮英一带归潭西新二区；1960年并入东崎公社浮英大队。[2]

1962年，英郑从英施、浮头二村中独立出来，设为大队；1988年曾改设管理区，至1999年才有英郑村委会。[2]

百度百科称该村旧名华殷村，俗称下殷、下殷郑。[3]

地理与经济[edit]

村委会距镇政府约2公里，耕地面积1656亩，修有环村水泥路约1公里。村民以农业为主要收入，年人均纯收入较低，部分人外出经商、打工。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，英郑村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]

在卫生村一项上，英郑村于2024年3月获得「2023年广东省卫生村」的命名。[2]

另在2019年9月，英郑村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
