后林村是汕尾市陆丰市湖东镇的行政村。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

万历年间（1605至1615年），村民开荒造田，分散的居民合并成村。[1][2]解放初它归碣石区的新湖乡府，后与琼林合设后琼乡府；公社化时编入竹湖营，至1960年才划出竹林大队。1988年称管理区，1999年定名后林村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会在2020年12月授予该村「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
