深田湖村是汕尾市陆丰市湖东镇的行政村。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝初年，林、陈、郑、施、裘、温、甘等姓先人先后迁入，形成多姓杂居的村落。[1][2]1950年起，它与下埔、南田、横山、新洲等村同属一个乡府（先称新湖，1958年加入樟田后称新樟湖）；1962年与横山组成横田大队，之后改称新湖大队。[2]1987年起称村委会，1994年改管理区，1999年又复称村委会。[2]
