历史沿革[edit]

起初隶新丰小乡；1958年划出，成为碣北公社的溪墘大队；1981年更名更新大队，1983年称更新乡。1987年起为村委会，1994年称管理区，1999年复为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，更新村列入2018年度广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位；2023年5月，评为2022年度广东省卫生村。[1]
