新酉村位于汕尾市陆丰市碣石镇城郊，下辖4个自然村，是碣石卫军城隍庙所在的村。[1][2]

博雅地名网载，全村1813户、10646人，总面积2.71平方公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该网称，村民在明末至清初年间开荒造田，4处分散的居民点聚居成村（页面括注1732年）。1953年设新酉乡，隶第六区（碣石区）；1961年起为碣北公社新酉大队，1983年称新酉乡（碣北区）。1987年设村委会，属碣北镇；1994年称管理区；1996年两碣合并，归碣石镇；1999年复为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

碣石卫军城隍庙为清代建筑，2022年3月被汕尾市人民政府公布为第三批市级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，新酉村入选广东省农业农村厅公布的首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，产品是萝卜；2020年12月，评为2020年度广东省卫生村。[1]
