历史沿革[edit]

村民的祖先从福建迁来。建国后一度分为两个大队：新渔大队专事出海捕鱼，新农大队以务农为主；1984年合二为一，称新饶管理区，到1999年改为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布的名单中，新饶村在2021年10月、2022年10月两度入选淘宝村；2020年12月，又被评为2020年度广东省卫生村。[1]
