博雅地名网载，全村776户、3908人，以捕捞为主，兼营海水养殖、副业和经商。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村民世代靠海洋捕捞、海水养蚝谋生。1953年建政，设渔民乡；1956年渔业改造时，因村民主要在浅海捕捞、养蚝，得名浅海大队。1988年称管理区，到1999年又改为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
