红坡村在汕尾市陆丰市碣石镇的碣南半岛偏南处，离镇区约8公里，是1970年代为连家船渔民上岸定居而建的渔村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，沿海连家船上的渔民以船为家。1975年，包一大队的连家船渔民迁到碣南后坡山，在上林大队西陂林村与浅沃大队交界的荒山地上建村。1983年与包一大队分设，称红坡渔管区，归碣石镇管辖；1987年改为村委会，1994年改称管理区，1999年又为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网称，全村面积9万平方米，有156户、825人。1990年风帆渔船破产后，集体和村民经济困难；1995年至2004年间，132户693人陆续迁往省内三市四县及镇内谋生，留在村里的有24户、132人，该网称它是碣石镇最小的村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，红坡村被广东省爱国卫生运动委员会评为2022年度广东省卫生村。[1]
