田墩村在河口镇东北部，是北溪河的源头之一，下设8个村民小组，470户、2500人。村里的油柑是全国「一村一品」的项目。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

田墩过去隶西湖管理区，1973年独立建大队。1984年3月起，大队体制取消，改由乡政府管理；此后村一级的称呼依次是村委会（1986年）、管理区办事处（1990年）、村民委员会（1999年）。[2]

经济[edit]

村里耕地共1153亩，水田占980亩，旱地占173亩，另有林地1890亩。以种植业为主，油柑和香蕉尤其出名。村集体收入不足5000元，曾是省确定的贫困村之一，省直工委的帮扶工作组帮村里完善了学校和基础设施。[1] 田墩油柑基地于2023年5月入选省级现代农业产业园。[3]

荣誉[edit]

田墩村的称号依时间先后有：2019年10月，列入「2019年广东省卫生村」；2019年12月，进入「第一批国家森林乡村」名单；2020年8月，以油柑入选「首批广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」；2021年10月，经农业农村部认定为「第十一批全国一村一品示范村镇」；2024年4月，进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
