高潭村在河口镇东部，下设14个村民小组，共五百多户、约三千人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

高潭解放后是个小乡，1958年到1983年作为大队存在。1984年3月起，大队体制取消，改由乡政府管理；此后村一级的称呼依次是村委会（1986年）、管理区办事处（1990年）、村民委员会（1999年）。土枝村原也属高潭乡。[2]

概况[edit]

全村耕地1546亩，其中水田1280亩，村集体收入偏少，仅5000元左右。村民以种粮和种水果为主，劳务输出是第二项收入。[1] 2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予高潭村「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
