四中村在河田镇西南部，处于岳溪生态公园的中心腹地，下辖堆粘背（刀粘背）、大洋田、老虎叫、塔坑4个自然村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

四中原本隶属岳溪大队，1974年后分出另立大队；1978年曾与岳溪合为岳中乡，1982年再次分开。此后乡政府（1984年3月）、村委会（1986年）、管理区办事处（1990年）、村民委员会（1999年）依次相承。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村域4.1平方千米，林地4800亩（全部是生态公益林），耕地650亩；户籍271户约1438人，常住22户约61人。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，四中村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
