大径村在河田镇西部山区，与上护镇交界。[2] 村民分居径一、径二、夹排、岭背、窝美、美社、中一、中二、四梅9个自然村，2021年9月，大径村以养驴进入省里第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[2][1]
历史沿革[edit]
1974年时，大径归麻溪管辖。河田与上护分设公社之后，大径的八个生产队脱离麻溪，划归河田，另称大径大队；1983年又与内洞合成内洞乡。村委会（1986年）、管理区（1990年）、村民委员会（1999年）是后来的几次更名。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
村域4.6平方千米，林地5046亩（生态公益林4204.5亩），耕地546亩；户籍262户1320人，常住60户149人。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月，大径村入选「广东省卫生村」名录；2020年12月，广东省爱卫会又授予它「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
