甘坪村在陆河县河田镇东北部的山区，全村都在火山嶂省级森林公园范围之内，东邻水唇镇，北与螺溪镇和揭西县相接。[2] 2020年12月获评广东省卫生村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1962年以前，甘坪由河东乡管辖，其后12年并入上径大队，直到1974年7月15日获批单独成立大队。之后乡政府（1984年3月）、村委会（1986年）、管理区（1990年）、村民委员会（1999年）依次沿革。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村辖区6.5平方千米（村情页作5.6平方千米），林地5820亩（生态公益林占5520亩），耕地580亩；辖禾芒、龙京、上屋、下屋、茶塘5个自然村，户籍149户818人。[2][1]
