上径村在河田镇东部，距县城和镇政府驻地约3公里，东邻水唇镇；村口接县环北公路，离潮惠高速河东出口约1公里。[1][2] 村内下屯村有镇迳宫遗址，原建于清乾隆二十六年（1761年）。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

上径原属老河东乡，1924年才分出。当地过去把吉康称为“上半径”，简称上径，村名由此而来。1978年称上径乡；1984年3月起设乡政府，其后经过村委会（1986年）、管理区（1990年）两个阶段，1999年改为村民委员会。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村域面积6.9平方千米，林地6887.5亩，耕地1323亩，辖上屯、下屯、社排、灵水、田心、人和、中坑7个自然村；户籍2325人，常住1750人。[2] 村情页另记全村总人口2062人。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇迳宫遗址在下屯村，是地方神庙，主祀神农帝、关圣大帝与五显华光大帝，合称三圣大帝，所以又叫三圣大帝宫，另外旁祀伯公老爷、石古大王、千里眼和顺风耳等神。原宫年久毁坏，2004年在原址稍前处重建，新庙占地约414平方米，面宽24米、进深17.23米，仍存乾隆二十六年的捐修碑刻两方，其中一方只剩上半部。[3]
