新林社区是汕尾市城区凤山街道的社区，在香洲路中段，临品清湖，下辖林埠、新墟两个村小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初是东冲区香洲乡的一部分；人民公社时期为香洲公社的新林大队，1989年改称管理区并归凤山街道，1999年定为居委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

约2500人，辖区面积约6平方公里，不少土地被政府征用，村民多靠务工谋生。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2025年11月，列入全省未来社区（完整社区）试点；2019年9月曾列入省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建名单（2018年度）。[1]
