香洲社区是汕尾市城区凤山街道的社区，紧邻汕尾市政府办公区，面积约4平方公里，办事处在和顺路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，先祖在清乾隆初年自福建莆田迁来，此地产盐，原名盐仓角，亦称和顺。新中国成立后归十二区，1952年成为该区的香洲乡，1958年改为香洲公社下的香洲大队。1989年起叫香洲管理区，隶属凤山街道，1999年成立居委会。[1]
