盐町头社区是汕尾市城区凤山街道的社区，位于市区中心，面积约0.6平方公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1954年成立，当时叫盐町头社大队，解放初属东冲区香州乡。公社化后改设大队，隶属香洲公社；街道成立后的1989年称管理区，1999年再改为居委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

社区分头社、中社、尾社三个居民小组，户数1511，户籍常住7690人，另有外来人口约2000人。集体收入主要来自文明中路招待所铺面的租金。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月被广东省爱卫会授予“广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
