安流镇位于广东省梅州市五华县东南部，琴江上游，旧称横流渡，距县城32千米，辖4个社区和42个行政村。[1]它是五华县三大中心镇之一，也是县南部的交通与商贸中心，素有“竹器之乡”的称呼。[1][2]2003年和2004年，文葵镇、大都镇先后并入本镇。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，镇名的由来是：这里临琴江，水流湍急，旧时以木船作桥渡河，故叫横流渡；清宣统三年（1911年），文人学士嫌“洪水横流”不吉，改称“安流”。[2]同一页的沿革栏则写作：长乐县初设乡，清末设横流约，民国初年始称安流，两处年份略有出入。[2]
该栏接着写道：民国三十六年（1947年）三月，此地设镇；1958年改为公社，1979年另分出万龙公社；到1983年底撤社建区，万龙公社随之撤销，它辖下的葵樟、文葵、福岭三个大队转归文葵区；1986年末又改回镇的建制。[2]概况页则说，镇的名称自1987年才开始使用，此前依次叫作安流乡、安流公社、安流区公所，两页相差一年。[3]
文葵镇于2003年12月并入，大都镇于2004年11月并入。[3]此后镇下设42个行政村和4个社区居委会，2004年底统计总人口为12.5万余人。[3]省里在2003年批准安流为中心镇。[3]
地理环境[edit]
镇域邻接双华镇、棉洋镇、周江镇、梅林镇、横陂镇和河东镇，面积247.06平方千米，属亚热带季风气候。[1]博雅地名网另记面积为238平方里。[3]惠水线、安浦线两条省道在安流圩相交，琴江自镇内流过；圩区被江分成安镇、司前两片，靠新、老两座安流大桥连通。[3]
人口民族[edit]
百度百科载有2019年的户籍人口数，为161738人。[1]博雅地名网引第七次全国人口普查结果，称镇人口9.32万，在五华县各乡镇中排第3。[2]
经济[edit]
圩镇上的综合市场主要是强华、司前两处。[3]2005年，镇里委托专业机构修编了涵盖2005年至2020年的整体规划，打算把圩镇城区由3.2平方千米扩大到8平方千米。[3]辖下的福江村以竹器制作为主要手工产业，葵樟村被博雅地名网称为竹器之乡；楼江村的甜粄也有名气。[4][5][6]博雅地名网另记两项荣誉：2022年1月被命名为「2021年度广东省卫生城镇」，2026年5月入选「广东省第一批开展现代化建设的中心镇」名单。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
兰芳楼在楼江村（本站数据作楼光村），是徐华清于1908年（清光绪三十四年）出资建起的学堂，砖木结构的四合院布局，占地约1236平方米。它先在2014年1月成为梅州市文物保护单位，到2015年12月又晋升为省级。[7]
秋前湖义冢在三江村，始建于1876年（光绪二年），倡建者是当时的长乐县知县彭光祖。冢内合葬无人认领的遗骸一千四百多具，其中有咸丰年间广东天地会起义军同清军作战阵亡者；墓群为一座主墓外加1448座子墓。[8]
樟潭村的长春楼是清代建筑，2021年2月被五华县政府列入第六批县级文物保护单位；福龙村的长守楼也是清代古建筑，同批公布。[9][10]百度百科还把东灵寺、平安寺等列为本镇的古迹，但本站未找到可核对的专页。[1]
著名人物[edit]
徐华清（1861年—1924年）字静澜，出生于楼江村，曾赴香港、德国求学，1888年回国，后任北洋军医学堂首任校长，民国时期任陆军军医总监，并兼任中国红十字会总会理事长，被称为“中国军医之父”。[11]百度百科称其故居为兰芳楼；而安流镇的百科条目又提到“徐华清故居树德堂”，两处说法不一。[1][11]
