西厢村在广东省梅州市丰顺县丰良镇境内，位于丰良镇西面、206国道旁，由村民委员会管理。[1]丰良镇区居中，按方位而论，该村在镇的西面，所以叫西厢。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1999年设西厢村民委员会；此前，1986年成立管理区；此前，1984年改为小乡；此前，1960年成立西厢大队。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，西厢村辖25个村民小组，在册645户、3094人，总面积6.1平方公里，耕地1459亩，年平均气温20摄氏度，年降雨量约1500毫米。[1]

以种养殖为主：2010年村委会带动，把200多亩农田转包给本村乡贤种花圃；有12户养殖场，养鸡20多万只；上一年农村经济总收入1365.1万元。[1]

  • 2026年3月，西厢村被广东省认定为第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
  • 2019年9月公布的广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单中有该村。[1]
