梅西水库在数据中是广东省梅州市梅县区下辖的一个乡级单位，以同名的中型水库得名，辖上官塘村、侯畲村两个行政村。水库位于程江中游，别名上官塘水库，1958年始建，1967年4月竣工；据博雅地名网，该单位在第七次全国人口普查（2020年）时有800人。[1][2][3]

水库于1958年兴建，初称上官塘水库，后被洪水冲毁。1964年10月重建并改称梅西水库，名称取自它在梅县西部的位置，1967年4月完工。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

水库在程江中游，离梅州城区约25千米。流域集水350平方公里，正常库容为5100万立方米。[1][3]坝型为均质土坝：高27.6米，顶宽7米，轴线全长150米。坝下依次建有四座电站，名为梅西、三门峡、黄石仑和长滩，合计装机10860千瓦，每年平均发电约3000万千瓦时。[2]

经济[edit]

水库以防洪、灌溉为主，兼顾发电、供水和旅游。据维基百科，建库后下游防洪能力提高，并为约2000公顷农田灌溉和梅县发电厂的冷却用水提供调节。[1][2]

据博雅地名网，自1997年起，库区先后投入八千多万元，用于旅游开发与基础设施，形成水上乐园、观音塔、万鲤湖、洞天公园、钓鱼台五处景区。其中观音塔建成于2005年5月，九层，高42米。[3][4]

管理[edit]

管理单位是梅州市梅西水库管理局，汛期的洪水调度归市三防指挥部。2022年，为修建省道S242线，库区有21.1939公顷国有土地被收回；《梅州市梅西水库管理区国土空间总体规划（2021-2035年）》将库区划为河砂禁采区。[1]
