铁炉桥村在梅州市梅县区扶大镇，属主城区，博雅地名网写作铁炉潭村，当地两种叫法并用。村内有乌仙岩佛光寺。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，旧时程江河从村边流过，河边有一口深潭，村中公路旁又有打造农具的铁匠铺，因称铁炉潭。村民去对岸槐岗村要在渡口（今扶大农贸市场一带）乘渡船；民国时渡口架起木桥，后由梁新南等人捐资改建为水泥桥，名「铁炉桥」。至今两种叫法都在使用。[1]

村在1993年随扶大镇设立而归其管辖，2004年起由扶大高新区管理委员会管理。2019年9月，铁炉潭村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

乌仙岩佛光寺在村内乌仙村，离梅州城约6公里，原称乌仙岩，是梅县区三大岩之一，另两处为龙牙岩、大东岩。相传明代大旱，三位黑衣仙人驾鹤飞来行云布雨，乡人集资建庙供奉，故名。清康熙《程乡县志》载有「乌仙岩寺」，碑记今已遗失。[2][3]

该寺1959年因僧众离去而殿堂倒塌，1988年起重建，1995年释证荣法师任住持后更名佛光寺并作整体规划；释证荣现兼任省佛教协会副秘书长和梅州市佛教协会会长。[2][3]
