新城办事处街道，通称新城街道，全称梅县区人民政府新城办事处，位于广东省梅州市梅县区的城区一带，辖程江、华侨城、富贵、锭子桥、西桥5个社区，办事处设在华侨城扶贵西路5号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，新城办事处由程江镇分出；街道之名取自它处在梅县区新城行政区中心。[1]另据该网，2021年第七次全国人口普查时，辖区人口约7.22万人，在梅县区各街道乡镇中居第2位，面积约3.88平方千米。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

辖境内有红旗村夏氏祖屋，民国年间所建。梅州市政府于2017年3月把它列入第五批市级文保单位。[1][2]
