社溪村位于惠州市惠城区陈江街道西北部，辖东面头、老屋、下廊、杨屋、东一、西二、宝岗7个村民小组，有345户、1495人。[1]

村域面积2.3平方千米（该页另一处写作2.6平方千米），有耕地2130亩，水田占1400亩，山地有400亩，果林地330亩，水面养殖的鱼塘750亩。[1]2012年全村工农业总产值2289万元（工业1660万元，农业629万元）；村集体经济收入九十多万元，人均年收入8350元。[1]

村以农业为主：蔬菜、水产和家禽蛋类。村内千亩规模的天和菜场所产蔬菜销往港澳及东南亚；水产以四大家鱼为主，年产约300吨；年产鸭十万只以上，鸭蛋150吨、鹌鹑蛋50吨，主要销往东莞和深圳。[1]

荣誉[edit]

村先后被评为「省生态示范村」，以及省计划生育村民自治方面的模范村、区级文明村，惠州市还把它定为新农村建设示范村。[1]2011年，中国生态文化协会授予其「全国生态文化村」；2020年11月获第六届全国文明村镇称号；2020年12月列入2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
