甜竹坑村是四会市威整镇下辖的行政村，在镇中心南面，同镇政府隔河相望，辖8个村小组、643户，全村面积6.7平方千米，人口2282人。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村背有一条小坑，两岸长满翠竹，竹笋清甜，故名甜竹坑。1998年撤销管理区、设甜竹坑村民委员会时沿用此名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村的前身是1958年设的甜竹坑大队，1987年改为甜竹坑管理区。[1]
经济与文化[edit]
村民以家庭作坊生产卫生香，从香粉、竹块到晾干、包装分工制作，产品销往各地城市。[1] 村中罗氏宗祠建于清雍正年间，起初两进，到道光二十五年（1845年）重修扩为三进，建筑面积578平方米。[1]
荣誉[edit]
村入选「第一批国家森林乡村」（2019年12月），也在2019年9月进入广东省民主法治示范村创建名单。[1]
