双甘村是怀集县冷坑镇北部的一个行政村，距圩镇5公里。据博雅地名网转载的村情资料（未注明年份），全村人口6,045人，耕地3709亩，其中旱地362亩；产业上，种植水稻；2010年前后引进东莞一家蔬菜公司的资金与技术，办起1000亩蔬菜基地，种意大利生菜、花椰菜，另有500亩马铃薯基地和500亩台湾番石榴基地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据村情资料，该地建制先后为：双甘农场（20世纪60年代）；双甘大队（1982年）；改称双甘管理区（1989年）；双甘村民委员会（1998年）。[1]

村民委员会成立于1998年11月，由怀集县人民政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文批准，因驻地在本村而用此名。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 该村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月）。[1]
