全村面积8.88平方千米，辖5个自然村、5个村民小组，有456户、1744人[1]。

村里借西江岸边的位置发展瓷土加工和装卸，建有30多个装卸码头、40多个加工场，沿国道开设餐饮店30多家；2009年集体经济收入为3.5万元[1][2]。
