科德社区隶属广东省肇庆市高要区南岸街道，位于高要城区西部，东靠高要火车站，南与西区工业园相邻，北经肇庆一桥与肇庆市区相连，324国道穿过辖区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

科德的前身是1955年组建的科德农业社，当时辖区属高要四区。1958年改为科德大队，归新桥公社管，文化大革命期间一度叫红光大队。八十年代它称乡，1985年随之划入南岸镇；经过1987年的村委会、1989年的管理区、1998年再回村委会，到2013年改成居民委员会。[2]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，九十年代初，高要市把科德村委会的全部地域列为城区二期开发区，农民随城区扩展转到二、三产业。村委会当时有10个村民小组，约2800人。[1]
