霞宝社区是化州市下郭街道辖下的社区，位于街道北面，总面积1.2平方公里，有362户、1656人（博雅地名网数据，年份未注）[1]。

居委会于2000年4月24日按化府办复〔2000〕60号文设立，起初分为下郭街道办的第一、第二两个居委会，2003年定名霞宝居委会，2017年改称社区居民委员会[1]。

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，“霞”取美好之意，如彩霞般红火，“宝”指珍贵，寄寓居民生活美好，故名霞宝[1]。社区以发展第三产业为主[1]。
