地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网说，村址左有青龙山脉，右有狮子岭，背靠大雾岭，门前是开阔的河口，因处群山之中的集镇而称深镇。[1]
基本情况[edit]
百度百科记载，村在高州市区东北约31公里处，1950年形成集镇，截至1999年全村730人；逢农历一、四、七日为圩日。[2]
荣誉[edit]
省卫生村（2021年12月）和民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位（2019年9月公布的2018年度名单）两项，深镇村都在列。[1]
