盐井头村是博贺镇下辖的行政村，位于博贺镇龙山[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记载的由来：这一带海产丰富，先民以捕捞鱼虾为生，在家门口挖井，井水是咸的，晒几天便成盐，因此称“盐井头”。[1]1960年从瑚塘生产大队分出，设盐井头生产大队，其后历经3次易名，1999年设盐井头村委会，延续至今[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，盐井头村下设村民小组5个，户籍登记737户、3683人，总面积3.5平方千米，耕地660亩[1]。另有表彰：2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2024年3月，获评2023年省卫生村[1]。
